The kitchen sheet and the set-up sheet, taken from the plan

The two sheets for the day come out of the same plan: the kitchen sheet, with the count by menu, children counted separately and the breakdown table by table; and the set-up sheet, with how many tables of each type, how many chairs, and what has to be prepared for accessibility. They print on A4 and get carried on paper, which is where they end up.

Kitchen sheet · A4 Warning: 1 requirement with no seat

The warning that saves a service

The sheet lists separately anyone with a dietary requirement who still has no seat. That’s the mistake that ruins a banquet: a special menu cooked that nobody knows which table to take it to.

Menu labels, not diagnoses

The model treats requirements as what gets served — «gluten free», «nut free» — not as medical information about the person. There is no field to write a diagnosis in, and the final allergen check remains the venue’s own.

Accessibility, on the set-up sheet

Wheelchair, reduced mobility and a place near the exit come out on the set-up sheet with their table and their seat, ordered to put anyone without a place first. Whoever lays the room finds out beforehand, not on the day with the tables already down.

What else it does

Floor plan

In MisePlan you draw the room’s real outline on a grid — whatever shape it is, L-shaped or with a cut corner — place the columns and set the doors. The usable floor area is worked out with the voids taken out, not from the rectangle around it, and that plan is reused for every event that passes through the room.

How it works →

Seating chart

You import the guest list from your spreadsheet, drag each name onto a specific chair on the plan, and see at all times how many are still without a place. The couple get a link they open without signing up, where they can place their own people but can’t move a single table.

Corporate events

Lay out any corporate configuration in minutes. Create seating rows for theatre-style set-ups, turn rectangular tables for U-shape or classroom arrangements, and duplicate whole blocks to fill large spaces while keeping the legal escape distances.
