How many diners fit in your room
Give it the room’s measurements and the table size and the calculator says how many round tables fit while keeping 1.50 m of service clearance between the chairs and 0.75 m to the wall. They are the same figures MisePlan checks while you lay out the plan.
Method
Where the number comes from
Each table takes up its diameter plus the chairs: around 45 cm behind each edge. Between two of those circles there has to be 1.50 m for service to pass, and 0.75 m to the wall. That gives a grid, and the calculator counts how many whole rows and columns fit.

What this figure does NOT say
- It’s an empty rectangular room. Columns, cut corners and doors each take places away, and each takes its own.
- No dance floor is counted, nor a stage, a dessert table or a photo wall.
- Rectangular top tables take up space differently and aren’t in this calculation.
- It’s the maximum that fits, not what there ought to be: a room filled to the limit lays out worse and eats worse.

Do it with your real room
This page assumes an empty rectangular room. In MisePlan you draw the real outline — with the columns and the doors where they actually are — and the program warns you while you drag.
